About Al Ungar

Al Ungar Photography has always been Al's passion. Al began photographing family and vacation spots over 40 years ago. After his retirement in 2009, Al turned his avocation for photography into a full-time vocation. Al's inspiration is drawn from his interest in nature, sports and people from all walks of life. His landscape photographs range from the fiery sunsets of the Sonoran Desert to the snow-covered peaks in Denali National Park, Alaska. His collections include the brave firefighters battling the Southern California brush fires to Still Life images of cowboy paraphernalia, birds in flight and Volkswagen camper vans.

Al uses Canon top of the line photographic equipment, to which he recently added a Canon R6 Mirrorless camera.
